Basic care instructions can be found on the product care label,
but we aim to provide more detailed guidance for keeping your items looking new for longer.
DWR Care Instructions
- If water doesn't bead up on the outer fabric, it's time for reproofing.
- Apply a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment to the product and dry it on a low setting in a tumble dryer for about 15-20 minutes.
* DWR: Durable Water Repellent - Afterward, store it in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
DWR Washing
- For light surface dirt, it's better to spot clean with a damp cloth rather than wash the entire garment. Frequent washing can damage the water-repellent function.
- When washing is necessary, zip up the garment, turn it inside out, and place it in a laundry bag before washing. This helps prevent damage to the outer fabric from zippers and other sturdy materials.
Drying Instructions
- Do not wring out the garment forcefully as it may damage the fabric and components.
- Gently press out excess water by hand, then wrap it in a dry towel and gently press again to remove most of the moisture.
- Lay it flat to dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area. Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause discoloration or deterioration.
General Washing Instructions
- Hand wash in lukewarm water (around 30°C) using a neutral detergent.
- If neutral detergent is not available, shampoo can be used as an alternative. (Avoid using powdered detergent, bleach, or stain removers)
- Fabric softeners should also be avoided, as they can leave behind residue that significantly reduces the garment's moisture-wicking and water-repellent properties.
Stain Removal Instructions
- For light dirt or stains, lightly dab the affected area with soapy water instead of washing the entire garment. Increasing the washing frequency can shorten the lifespan of the product.
- Rinse with lukewarm water and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
- Using a strong brush for stain removal may damage the product.
